Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Legacy Technologies, a German company specializing in highly secure modular data centers, plans to launch its regional data center manufacturing factory in Riyadh in early 2025, according to CEO Sem Köksal.

The factory is expected to support the digital ecosystem in Saudi Arabia and drive innovation in the digital infrastructure sector, Köksal said in an interview with Asharq Al Awsat newspaper.

This project came as part of a partnership between Saudi Excellence Holding and Legacy Technologies whereby both parties establish a joint venture in the Kingdom.

Köksal clarified that the partnership focuses on establishing ready-to-use modular data centers in Riyadh, in conjunction with Vision 2030’s objectives of upgrading the national digital infrastructure.

He noted that the company aspires to establish a state-of-the-art factory to manufacture data centers in Saudi Arabia.

Moreover, the CEO stated that the new factory will use renewable energy sources and implement power-saving systems that align with Vision 2030’s sustainability goals and boost sustainable development in the region.
